Personality;
Dominic is definitely not like most guys his age, in such a time of struggle and peril. He's amazingly calm and reserved, as well as very loyal, respectful, and protective. He's a sweet boy, that much is true, although to see that softer side of him, it does take some work. Dominic is very, very guarded, and tends to hide behind his tough and somewhat aggressive exterior. He puts on a hard face and blocks out his emotions on a daily basis, only showing the fight he has within himself. He can come across as somewhat frightening, powerful, aggressive, and when provoked, violent. However, this is what made Dominic such a flawless boxer. He's so calm and collected, all until he, quite literally, snaps. Then his aggression will rage forth without warning, and his actions will take a relentless turn to the worst. Sometimes it's dangerously explosive, his anger, and once full-blown, it's terribly hard for him to snap out of it. Dominic is a boy that will die fighting, and will never give up.
Now, aside from the general traits he has, behind Dominic's tough mask, he can be a sweet boy. He has a soft spot for little kids, and if no one is around to see him, would go and play a game with a lone child, should he be in the mood. He likes to laugh, only when comfortable around someone, and should he get romantically involved, it wouldn't be odd to see him blush every so often. He has difficulties with the actual romance itself, and would definitely try to be somewhat romantic, but his partner would most likely have to be patient with him. As far as flings go Dominic would probably be all for it in the right situation with the right girl, but if he sees any potential with a girl, he wouldn't go there. Nor would he ever flirt with a taken girl, either. Like I said, he's quite respectful.

History;
Dominic's History isn't something he often lets others know about. As far as his past goes he's a closed book, and only those closest to him will be let in. Now, Dominic was born a single child, with two caring, well-off parents. This was, of course, before the world fell to hell.
Anyways.
He'd grown up like most boys did, or rather, most normal ones did. He got mildly good grades in school, had a few girlfriends here and there, and all was fine and dandy. However, that came to somewhat of a screeching halt when Dominic's mother fell severely ill. Their family was so close, but within a year, when Dominic was fourteen, his mother was wrenched unwillingly from the picture. She passed away a few days before his birthday, and that year Dominic went without a birthday celebration. His father and he fell into depressions, Dominic going to school but not bothering to do much else, while his father took up drinking.
Again.
It'd been a past issues, which was resolved, but with the passing of Dominic's mother, his father lost practically all will to stop. He became somewhat of an alcoholic, and an angry one at that, and this is where Dominic's anger really started to surface. He'd go to school with bloody lips and black eyes, and when asked about what happened, he'd always have to make up some such shit about falling off his bike. When, really? His father and he got into some pretty nasty brawls. But, Dominic always kept somewhat calm. He'd go about his daily life as if nothing was on, keeping his dreadful home life a secret.
As he grew to about sixteen, Dominic started spacing himself from home, as well as his drunken father. He would spend days away from home, wandering the streets and chilling with friends. He'd come home late at night and leave the next morning so his father couldn't reem him out, and soon enough, it became routine. However, when Dominic nearly killed a boy for shoving him in the hall, the school board knew something was wrong. His home was investigated when Dominic wouldn't speak of anything, and after finding out about his father, Dominic was shoved into a foster home. Immediately he took off, quite angry with the situation, before ending up outside, in the rain, before a boxing training studio. The manager let him in and Dominic explained somewhat of his situation, and long story short, the man let him take lessons for free, in return for Dominic working there. He returned to his foster home, though spent little time there, and in the meantime, became a very, very good boxer. He'd been doing it only for a few years, and already the boy was going against fullgrown men.
And winning.
If it hadn't been for the grand fail of human kind, he might have actually made a name for himself. But what can you do? Life's just like that sometimes.
